Taekwondo
Tae Kwon Do is my favorite sport as well as specialty. I have trained Tae Kwon Do since I was 3 years old due to my parents. My father is Taekwondo Master and runs a private Tae Kwon Do academic in South Korea. Tae Kwon Dois a traditional Korean martial art which has been spread all around the world. Its physical, mental, and social benefits have been documented in several studies. However, there are lack of physical education teachers who can teach Tae Kwon Do in their PE class. Why it has happened? I think PE teachers are not trained to teach martial arts, and they believe they need special skills to teach. However, I believe teaching Tae Kwon Do and being able to do Tae Kwon Do are kind of different. If PE teachers are well trained to teach Tae Kwon Do even if they are not good at performing Tae Kwon Do skill, I believe they can effectively teach kids in their PE class. Thus, I believe there should be a course in PETE program where PE teachers can learn how to teach Tae Kwon Do in their classroom. The following links will help those who want to teach Tae Kwon Do in PE class.

Over my teaching career, I have found that when students learn tennis first time, common error they made is lots of wrist movement. What would be a good way to fix their errors?
